Our Irish crab is popular across the world and we specialise in catching, storing and transporting crab both locally and internationally. Day boats that still use traditional pot fishing methods land our crabs. Our prime location on the Irish Sea coast ensures cooking and hand grading is carried out shortly after catch. Our crabs are 100% guaranteed to be female to ensure premium quality and taste.
The temperatures and conditions, in which the crabs live in the wild, ensure the crabs move slowly and this results in extremely rich crab meat qualities. Irish crabs that have rich roe content are fished in September and December and are recognized as being of the best quality.
After cooking the crab shell is a deep amber colour and the cooked crab meat is sweet and tender to eat.
